THE NORAC TECHNOLOGY CENTRE Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Centre has been designed,
equipped and staffed to assist industry clients with research, product
development, process development, system design, commercial scale - up, and
toll processing of natural ingredient products using Supercritical Fluid
Extraction (SFE) and other traditional separation technologies. Examples of successful product and process development include coffee,
cocoa, butterfat, egg yolk powder, lovastatin, cyclosporin, hops resins and
oils, tocopherols, cosmetic oils, cereal brans and germs, marine fatty acids,
animal tissues, enzyme and active protein concentrates, pharmaceuticals,
biologicals, flavors, colors and natural food and cosmetic antioxidants. The Centre works with international clients under joint Confidentiality
Agreements and flexible Fee- For-Service, Joint Venture or Norac - Funded
arrangements. Whether your needs are for a new custom flavour, an ingredient
recovery from fermentation biomass or an optimized extraction system, Norac has
